The Story so far...

Soapetc started in 2020 making artisan salt cube soap in our local community, Strathbungo, dubbed the Notting Hill of Glasgow.

Very quickly, the whole family became involved as

we realised there was a growing interest in using sustainable soap, shampoo and skincare.

Still our most popular soap, the salt cubes, use carefully selected natural oils, pink himalayan salt, essential oils with French clays and activated charcoal for colour.

They gently exfoliate and nourish skin.

Everything we make is Vegan Friendly.

The SoapArt is packed in 100% compostable packaging and if we ship something to you wrapped in bubble wrap it is because we are recycling it from one of our own deliveries.

Nicola our resident soap artist, designs and hand crafts small batch, zero waste  artisan soap using the traditional cold process technique. Hero ingredients she uses are great for even the most sensitive skin and include shea butter, cocoa butter, peach kernel oil, mango butter, pink himalayan salt, clays, charcoal and essential oils to colour and scent the soaps.

Soapetc uses compostable packaging, refillable glass and recyclable jars and has a strong consideration for the impact of what goes down the drain and returns back to the sea and its effect on marine life.
Soapetc is a low impact organisation and strives to help others reduce plastic waste along with always looking for new ways to reduce our own plastic footprint.
