Rose Otto water, also known as rose hydrosol or rose water, is a luxurious and aromatic water produced during the steam distillation of Rose Otto essential oil, typically from Rosa damascena (Damask rose).
The rose petals are placed in a still with water, and steam is passed through them, extracting the essential oil and capturing the aromatic Rose Otto Water vapor. This gentle method preserves the therapeutic anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of the rose water. The result is a fragrant and versatile skincare ingredient renowned for its hydrating, soothing, and toning qualities.
